Mercury Bay Pharmacy works alongside the Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) programme to support people receiving treatment for opioid dependence.

Our pharmacists can dispense and supervise opioid substitution medicines, including methadone and buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), as prescribed through the OST programme.

Depending on your treatment plan and what has been agreed with your healthcare provider, medication may be provided:

• Daily under pharmacist supervision, or

• As approved takeaway doses

Our pharmacy team works with your Health NZ treatment provider and healthcare team to supply medication in accordance with your agreed treatment plan.
