Medical Certificates
If you are feeling mildly unwell and need evidence of illness for work or school, the pharmacists at Mercury Bay Pharmacy may be able to provide a medical certificate following a consultation, where appropriate.
A pharmacist consultation can help assess minor illness symptoms and determine whether a short-term medical certificate can be issued.
This service may be suitable for minor health concerns, such as:
Colds or flu symptoms
Coughs or sore throat
Mild gastrointestinal illness (such as diarrhoea or vomiting)
During the consultation, the pharmacist will discuss your symptoms and provide advice about managing your condition. If appropriate, a medical certificate may be issued for a short period of illness.
